Some of our favorite things to do:
Head to the Saturday morning Lake Oswego Farmers market.
Grab a coffee and breakfast burrito at Haven Coffee on NW Thurman Street and then walk to Lower Macleay Trailhead for a hike or walk in Forest Park
Walk and shop on NW 23rd Ave starting at St. Jacks and ending at Snow Peak
Watch an evening comedy show (daily) at McMenamins Al's Den
Relax and sauna at Knot Springs or Cascada Thermal Springs
Thrift shop on the Eastside (on Hawthorne Street)
Catch a Portland Timbers soccer game!
if staying longer:
Hire a guide and head out Salmon fishing. The spring salmon run usually peaks around July!
Drive out to Hood River for the day. Make sure to stop at Multnomah Falls on the way and to visit the breweries (especially Ferment) and watch the wind surfers. There are tons of great hikes in the Gorge on your way to Hood River.
Head to wine country! The Willamette Valley is world renown for its Pinot Noir. You can’t go wrong with a stop at Stoller Family Estate or Domaine Serene.
Drive out to Cannon Beach for a relaxing day at the beach. Make sure to check out Pelican Brewing Company.
